Geographic Numbering: Features

More and more businesses are switching back to traditional 01 and 02 based telephone numbers, as opposed to 08 non-geographic numbers. This is mainly due to OfCom regulatory changes imposing upon the amount of revenue a company can make on its inbound calls.

For your peace of mind, all numbers provided by IP Base are routed by Tier 1 carriers with whom we are directly connected. To add value to our service it is also possible to implement a combination of the following features:-

	Voicemail (Network Based) If you have not answered your call after a specified length of time, we can route your call into our intelligent Voicemail platform. Once a message has been left, we can alert you by E-Mail or SMS Message.
	Call Forward Similar to Voicemail, if you have not been able to answer a call, we can divert it after a specified length of time to either your mobile or an alternative landline.
	Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Calls to your geographic number can be greeted by a message similar to, "press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts, 3 for deliveries" etc. This can either be recorded by you or by one of our Professional Voice Artists and each option you have can been diverted to a different landline or mobile.
	Call Queuing If you are already on a call, our intelligent systems can "hold" the second call until you have finished and then send it through to your choosen landline. This option is available on forwards to landlines only.
	Call Recording All calls made to your geographic number can be recorded at network level and are available for you to listen to immediately through our website.
	Online Account Access You can manage your account online which enables you to view your bill, change the routing of your numbers and access your call recordings.
